This is a thank you from my husband and I. The thank you is for my 6 month old little boy, Christopher. At my last visit I was complaining about his endless stomach and bowel problems. He suffers from colic and severe constipation since birth. After my complaints to his pediatrician, with no advice, I tried everything from karo-syrup, prune juice (in every bottle), apple juice to suppositories just for a small bowel movement. His sleep was interrupted nightly with gas pains and endless crying. Nothing worked. After explaining his problems to Dr. Martin, she explained how various spinal misalignments happen in birthing and offered help. I was very skeptical, but I trusted her judgement. She felt the misalignment in his spine and showed it to me when she pressed on his back. I’m sure there is a lot more medical reasoning behind this process.
When I left the office, I was still skeptical, but my opinion changed when in 2 hours after his adjustment, he had an unassisted bowel movement. That was no juice, karo or suppositories. The following day I was even more impressed when he had another bowel movement. Everyday he has shown improvement.
Now Christopher has seen Dr. Martin 3 times. His bowel movements are regular without assistance.

When I first came to see Dr. Martin, I was experiencing pain in my lower back and hip. The cause of my condition was unknown, but it came upon me all at once. It made it hard for me to make pastoral calls, work in my study, and I was tired and irritable, making life less fun for the ones I love to serve. I found out about Westmoreland Chiropractic Center both through personal contacts and friends. Dr. Martin is a wonderful healer who is ultimately interested in me. She exhibits competency, kindness, and compassion. I can now move and feel better. I am more relaxed and have a healthier, more mature outlook on life and myself as a result of this office’s care and instruction. And, my back and hip don’t hurt. My wife is under care and doing great, and my youngest daughter has done better with ear infections and drainage since receiving care. The staff is warm and fun to be around. They taught a class for our church’s senior citizen group and it was great! I receive my time here as a gift and view my appointments as welcome retreats in the midst of a hectic life. Dr. Martin and her staff are among my favorite people and most trusted helpers in life’s journey.

When I first came to Westmoreland Chiropractic Center, I was depressed due to neck, shoulder, mid-back pain, and pain in my tailbone. I also had aches and pains from arthritis. I was born with a half-inch pelvic tilt on the right side of my body. My problem did not cause pain until I was past mid-life, about age 55. When I would walk down the street, without warning, a lightening-like pain would shoot down my right calf into my heel. It would almost bring me to the ground. 10 years of the drug Naprosyn only destroyed the cartilage in my joints and damaged my stomach, causing acid reflux. Dr. Martin was a guest speaker at our “Forever Young” Travel Club. I began feeling like a very old senior. I’m now active and feeling like a much younger senior. From the moment you open the door of the Westmoreland Clinic you are able to feel the warm, friendly vibes of the humorous and positive attitude of husband and Office Manager, Mickey Martin. This is the perfect prelude to knowing how much better you are going to feel after your adjustment with Dr. Elizabeth Martin. She is so rightly proud and pleased with her ability to make others feel better. You come away knowing how lucky you are to have found this talented lady doctor. I have had the opportunity to work with Dr. Elizabeth Hay-Martin as a colleage for the last 15 years and have found her to be one of the best Chiropractors I have had the privilege of working with.
